Emma's all alone. 

...

Not that it matters, anyway. It's not like it bothers her. Why would it? She loves solitude, it's basically her middle name. That you would assume she's bothered by being alone is just rude. She's perfectly fine being alone.

She's got her can of beans, her candle.

The candle is nice to watch, considering it's the only working light source she has been able to find.

Scout:

Look out the window!!!

"What? Who said that? Is there someone here??" Emma stands up quickly, running to the window and looking out.

No one. But Emma is sure she heard something- someone - talking. Hadn't she?

Apparently not.

Nobody answered back. 

Man, this "being alone" thing was really starting to lose its novelty.
